About Me
Teaching English isn’t just my job, it’s my passion. Over the years, I’ve seen first-hand how the right support can completely transform a student’s confidence, motivation, and results. I believe learning should be interactive, inspiring, and empowering. For me, teaching is about more than just grades (although these are important!); it’s about helping students find their voice, develop independence, and believe in their abilities.
I create a learning environment where students feel comfortable enough to ask questions, explore new ideas, and challenge their thinking. Whether it’s helping a learner rediscover their love of English or guiding a high achiever to the next level, my goal is always the same: to make students feel capable, confident, and inspired.
How It Began
After years of teaching in sixth-form colleges and an 'outstanding-rated' private school, I saw too many students slipping through the cracks — those who needed more support, more challenge, or simply more belief in themselves.
That’s why I created my Elevate English courses. Small-group, high-impact lessons designed to give every student the individual attention, clear strategies, and structured guidance they need to thrive.
Why I Do What I Do
I’ve seen students transform from feeling self-doubt and a lack of confidence to achieving grades 4 – 9 and discovering a belief in themselves they never thought possible.
Nothing gives me greater joy than hearing from parents:

These lightbulb moments are why I teach. Helping students realise what they’re capable of and watching their confidence grow is the most rewarding part of what I do.
